REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO ARUBA AS A TOURIST:
Travel to Aruba from the USA, Canada, South America, Europe and the Caribbean is possible via most major carriers, either non-stop or with convenient connections. A current passport is required. American, Canadian, and EU citizens do not require visas, nor do most South Americans: e.g. Colombia & Venezuela. More info: Here
Also you have to fill in the (Embarkation-Disembarkation Card) But with the online version of the ED-card you can fill in this form before embarking on your journey to Aruba. As soon you have booked your trip to Aruba, apply for your online ED- Card prior to boarding! Here
DIRECTIONS: If you rent a car, the drive from the airport to the “Divi Resort” is very short and should take you about 15 minutes. It is an easy drive that will take you through the heart of downtown Aruba. Please be patient while driving through downtown Aruba, there is always some traffic due to the cruise ships.Keep the ocean on your left hand side and you will never get lost. Or take a taxi! (Taxies are safe and the drivers speak English)
Upon arrival proceed to the Divi Village check-in desk. Location A on the map VIEW MAP . Please show your folio / check in number. They will give you swipe keys and take your credit card number for incidental charges to the room such as pool bars, restaurants, snack store etc: Extra services you can request at this time for additional fee such as: daily towel service, full or partial maid service.
GETTING TO OUR UNIT: Once you receive your swipe key, proceed to “The Residences” Building num C2 VIEW MAP You can easily drive around to this unit OR you can catch a golf cart taxi right outside the check-in desk. (If you decide you want to rent a car, you can do so through “Hertz Rent a Car” located next to check-in building “M” However, it is cheaper to rent at the airport) If you are driving over to condo there is a security gate so have your room card ready to swipe it to enter the Residential section. Continue to building #2 straight ahead. Our reserved parking spot is on the left side of the building marked CONDO 29. Then precede into the building and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Straight ahead on the left is Penthouse Suite 29. Use your swipe key to enter paradise! (Please note that the swipe cards will become demagnetized if they come in contact with a credit card or cell phone. If they become demagnetized, please go back to check in desk and they will reactivate for you.)
